high heels. red dress.

I wore heels today to work. Some kick ass pink heels that I bought at Goodwill and obviously, I live in flats so it's a big deal that I rocked heels all day today and my feet are ok. They don't ache, no blisters, no severe issues - they felt a little weird by the end but not in pain. Awesome.

I joined a gym today. They offered me a super cheap deal and I was like, Yeah! Gym! So, I'm going to go and take classes and ride on the bikes in front of the windows across from the mall and people can drive by and see me sweating my ass off. Whoooo. Classes that I might be interested in:

Ok, let's not lie. 9:15 Sunday morning? hahahaha. That's not going to happen. But you know.

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. Nothing super drastic. I prefer it shorter. Between chin and shoulder, semi side part, letting it curl up and wave and do whatever the hell it wants when I want without having to straighten or blow dry it or pull it into a ponytail everyday. You know. I'm excited. I'm tired of my hair right now.

I was at Major Magic's over the weekend and it was magical, as promised. And major. I rocked some skee ball, even though I had one wild pitch that ended up in the next lane. Got to experience the wonder of the animatronic robot band, that is so old that the squeaks are louder than the music, which was amazing. And little kids still love that stuff. Seriously, they are all about it. It's great. Oh, and I played this game where all of the instructions were in Japanese so I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing at all and it turned out that the whole point of the game was to match up letters - like four robots came on the screen that said "D A D N" and I was looking at it like, am I supposed to spell something? No, match letters. I got it. Thanks, teenage Major Magic's employee standing over my shoulder and informing me. And let me tell you that they used to give you some decent candy for like 10 tickets and now, you need almost 100 to get anything. So, with 60 tickets, we ended up with 5 peppermints and the best prize there, a furry fake mustache. The lower ticket prizes were like plastic army men, peppermints, lisa frank style erasers, temporary tattoos, and a plastic bin full of an assortment of fuzzy mustaches. Wonderful.

Alison and I were reading our horoscopes in the TV Guide and Seventeen magazine today (we're both Tauruses) and they were all negative, like "Oh, you think someone's giving you compliments but they're not genuine" or "You're in a bad mood, Taurus. Lighten up." So, we realized the same lady writes both of them and hates on Tauruses for no reason. Who gets a job as an astrologist and how does one get a job as an astrologist? Lame.

There's a serious draft in my apartment and with the heat STILL not working (way to go, landlord), it's quite chilly. I have to keep repeating: Spring is coming, spring is coming, spring is coming! :)
